The one-piece implant is pre-integrated with an abutment. This shortens prosthetic procedures and saves the patient money (no abutment cost). An additional advantage of the one-piece implant is that it is minimally invasive during insertion (a small incision in the gum 2-3 mm) and the gum heals instantly. After the integration period, the one-piece implant is immediately ready for prosthetic procedures. Due to their small cross-section, one-piece implants are ideal for narrow/obscure alveolar processes. Because of their simple design, they are also resistant to any damage, such as fracture or loosening of the abutment screw. They can be bent, adjusting to the inclination of the adjacent teeth.
