Temporary implants are inserted as auxiliary implants in severe anatomical conditions, during complex reconstructions of full dental arches. They allow the patient to function freely with temporary teeth after complex procedures, such as bone regeneration, alveolar reconstruction with simultaneous gum grafting. After a period of integration of the main implants, the temporary implants are removed after fulfilling their supporting role.
