This is a very good solution for those wearing traditional acrylic dentures. With All-on-X, it is possible to reduce the acrylic plate covering the palate. At the same time, the bridge/prosthesis remains very stable. It is also ideal for people with very damaged teeth and roots, in whom it is not possible to insert more implants (e.g., 8).
What is All-on-X ?
This is a modern technique that involves placing 4 or 6 implants in the jaw, or mandible, and attaching a denture, or bridge, to them. The work is not based on the alveolar processes themselves only on the implants, so it has better stability and gives more comfort for the patient (easy hygiene, cleaning).

- Special clasps (their common name is Lokator) are attached to the implants, so that the prosthesis is attached with a “click”. This system is strong enough to hold the prosthetic work in one place, but it also gives the denture the ability to be easily pulled out for hygiene purposes.
All-on-X hygiene
With the All on 4 method, maintaining dental hygiene is very simple. All you have to do is treat your new teeth like your own. Brush them at least twice a day every day. Additionally, with all-on-4 restorations, the use of a dental irrigation is crucial. It ensures that the implant-to-tooth connections are thoroughly cleaned, minimizing the risk of infection and promoting gum health.
